India's Best Companies in Rewards and Recognition, 2013 were felicitated at an awards event on April 26th, 2013 at the Trident, BKC, Mumbai.

Great Place to Work ® Institute India and Edenred India collaborated to present the first 'India's Best Companies for Rewards and Recognition'. The awards function for this was held in April 2012.

Committed employees are the greatest asset for any organization. People are committed and engaged when they feel they are being cared for in the organization.
The year was 1991. I was a management trainee in a well-known organization in the electrical engineering industry in India. The scene: Gate meeting of the worker’s union in response to a strike declared by the union and subsequent lockout declared by the management. Over 500 workers were listening with rapt attention to fiery speeches of a few union leaders on a makeshift stage near the factory gate.
The origins of women leadership can be traced from family-owned businesses. In fact, the early support came from male CEOs who had daughters. Additionally, in India, the majority of family-owned businesses played a significant part where some founders included their daughters in their businesses from an early phase.
