To enable employees to plant trees in remote, rural, and ecological sensitive locations, DHL Express ran a virtual app-based walkathon for 50 days. With each step, they got closer to the objective of planting a tree with their effort. With a total of 15,000 steps taken by an employee, a tree was planted in their name, and they also received a unique numbered “Tree Certificate” with geo-coordinates for monitoring.
DHL Express took several initiatives to keep employee morale high - Work From Home Resource Guide, Stay at Home Edition: Keeping Engaged with Family and Teams, Make Your Own Cloth Mask Guidelines, Several communications on the Coronavirus disease. They, specially engaged our employee's children through a Painting Competition as well.
