With an objective to drive leadership competency building and promote learning, the Teachers Chalk was launched. It's a recognition event that is hosted annually by the Talent Development function. Teachers Chalk aims to promote a teaching culture at John Deere India and honors the leaders, managers, and subject matter experts (SME) who volunteer to teach their fellow colleagues. These efforts ultimately contribute towards their goal of' building Extraordinary Global Talent.
During the lockdown, John Deere rolled out a bi-weekly survey to connect with employees to understand if they and their families were safe and healthy, and if any organizational support was required. Cases that were brought to notice were addressed promptly.
This organization considers employee as an asset. The environment is employee-friendly. One unique thing about this organization is the policies and facilities for expecting moms(maternity cases).
