21 Employees are nominated to represent each state of Ujjivan as ‘State Leader’. They represent Ujjivan, in the state with key stakeholders including government bodies, associations, key competitors, and employees. They enable key decisions and resolution of local issues that involve the state. State Leaders are also responsible for the brand and reputation in that State. They are to uphold the values of Ujjivan to all stakeholders.
Ujjivan, being a geographically dispersed bank, has continuously ensured all employees are safe. HR and managers are in constant touch with the employees to ensure their safety. The last three months' salary has been release way ahead of time before month ends so that families can be supported.
The recognition of employees working for more than 10 years and grant of ESOPs for all the employees irrespective of the position they hold - this is the unique thing which makes it a great place to work.
All managers have an open-door policy, right from the mid-level managers to the senior-most people. They are very approachable, as their contact information is shared company-wide, right from the bottom to the MD & CEO of the company.
