1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization?
• A positive culture in the workplace is essential for fostering a sense of pride and ownership amongst the employees. When people take pride, they invest their future in the organization and work hard to create opportunities that will benefit the organization.
• We have a set of clear organizational core values that are will continue to be communicated effectively and discussed with the employees so that they feel part of it. We will also continue to have a leadership team that encourages teamwork and open and honest communication. I firmly believe that these are critical to providing all of us a positive workplace where all the employees are valued, supported and are given equal opportunities to progress.

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing?
We understand that our network and the people who manage our operations – are essential to our profitable growth. However, the task of finding people with the right skillsets required to run our operations is challenging – especially at the middle- and upper management levels. The challenges that we face are, typically;
• Changing skill requirements: Today, we need talent that has both tactical/operational expertise and professional competencies such as analytical skills. This continues to be hard to find. But tomorrow’s talent must also excel at leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, and high-level analytic and technological capabilities.
• The perception that supply chain jobs lack excitement: The industry is still contending with the impression that other fields are more prestigious and offer more opportunities, fueling lack of interest in the industry within the world’s future workforce.

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure etc. in the organization?
