Consistent with their objective of creating a superior work environment and encouraging their employees towards a healthier lifestyle, Indus Towers signed up for Stepathlon 2015. This initiative is for a fitter work environment and to inculcate the behaviour of walking at least 10,000 steps every day.Indus Stepathletes benefitted with weight Loss, improved quality of sleep, reduced stress level along with many other physical benefits.
Indus Towers has given a new meaning to the Buddy Program and much thought has been put while designing the same. An important pillar in welcoming the new employees, the program is aimed to foster a culture of friendship and not just a knowledge sharing platform. Firstly, the buddies are carefully chosen post Self and Leadership nomination from across locations and the criteria is to choose employees who have a sense of connect and empathy and genuinely want to be Buddies. Through the Buddy Program Workshop, they are trained and educated on various subjects to act as culture guides for the new joiner and to ensure consistency. A Buddy effectiveness survey has been launched as well to ensure that the program proves to be impactful and useful to new joiners. With this early attrition has remained stable and have witnessed lower attrition as compared to previous years.
