Ingersoll Rand India celebrates the Global Health Progress Day, every year. This year’s theme is to ‘Inspire Kindness’ reflecting the social and emotional components of well-being. The purpose of this year’s theme is to remind everyone that a small act of kindness can truly impact them and the people around them. On Global Health Progress Day, all employees around the world are encouraged to do an act of kindness to ‘Inspire Kindness’ in their families, friends, colleagues and even strangers. It could be as simple as smiling at someone in passing or holding the door for them.
Ingersoll Rand has adopted a new Active Shooter Response standard work to ensure the safety of all employees. This new plan “ALICE” (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate) explains what each person needs to do in the event of intrusion of an active shooter inside our campus. This training takes approximately one hour to complete and includes a test that must be passed successfully in order to receive credit. This training is mandatory for all employees and new joiners to complete as part of their mandatory compliance training.
