Global Health Progress Day

Ingersoll Rand India celebrates the Global Health Progress Day, every year. This year’s theme is to ‘Inspire Kindness’ reflecting the social and emotional components of well-being. The purpose of this year’s theme is to remind everyone that a small act of kindness can truly impact them and the people around them. On Global Health Progress Day, all employees around the world are encouraged to do an act of kindness to ‘Inspire Kindness’ in their families, friends, colleagues and even strangers. It could be as simple as smiling at someone in passing or holding the door for them.




Ingersoll Rand has adopted a new Active Shooter Response standard work to ensure the safety of all employees. This new plan “ALICE” (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate) explains what each person needs to do in the event of intrusion of an active shooter inside our campus. This training takes approximately one hour to complete and includes a test that must be passed successfully in order to receive credit. This training is mandatory for all employees and new joiners to complete as part of their mandatory compliance training.

Employees are encouraged to plan their development and genuine effort will be made from the organization to help them to achieve it

My personal approach is to enable a collaborative work environment that is open and transparent and one that enables our employees to apply their intellect in pursuing their passion to develop innovative solutions that provide the best value to our customers, business units and shareholders.

There are many benefits attached to creating a great workplace. My top two picks would be -

2. It is also a determinant of whether your talent is passionate about coming to work every day, and helping the organization meet its goals and mission. A happy and engaged workforce feels enriched and motivated to bring their best to work, every single day.

3. What are your top people priorities?
Creating a winning culture is one of Ingersoll Rand’s three business strategies because how our company profitably grows and achieves premier performance is just as important as the growth itself. We have defined and worked towards a progressive, diverse and inclusive (PDI) workplace culture. All our employee initiatives and programs are built and revolve around the key theme of PDI. Further, the backdrop of a collaborative and inclusive work culture leads towards a positive disposition among employee demographics and that's what makes Ingersoll Rand a great place to work.

Finding talent with ‘holistic skill-sets’ is a challenge. Reskilling and up-skilling talent, at scale, is a top priority for us in the age of automation and digitization. Bridging the emerging talent gap due to rapid advancement in technology, constantly evolving customer demands and the imminent environmental concerns so that we prepare the workforce of the future to support our growth needs and sustainability goals resulting in industry-leading innovation and excellent service-delivery – both critical catalysts for growth-led organizations.
