With their longstanding Active Ambassador Program, the organization has been successful in motivating hundreds of staff across all their campuses to interact across functions and work together to evangelise all that’s going well at their schools. This program gamifies everything related to ‘getting the word out there’ with a points that add up to gift vouchers and international holidays. The activities awarded range from simply blogging about school activities, referring new teachers, promoting the school in different forums and referring new students for admissions.

The miraculous power of this institution of faith, love, trust, hope rewards me as an individual with optimism, hope and inspiration. This institution has a positive atmosphere which has taught me to face life with equanimity and courage.

1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace?
The best organizations are built on a set of values that support decision-making at every level. When we have a values-driven organization, we focus on doing the right things, for the right reasons, at the right time. Accepting that we are different requires leaders to be flexible about how we lead others and find the best ways to motivate them to be the best version of themselves. Working with us should be challenging as well as fun. We need to know when to focus and when to relax. We are not perfect and we all make mistakes, so the ability to listen and respond positively to concerns, ideas and learn from others is central to creating a positive culture in the workplace.

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace?
- Staff are motivated to work hard because they want to do the best job they can – intrinsic motivation is the key to improved performance.
- Staff enjoy the challenges they face and approach them with the aim of conquering even the toughest obstacles in their way.

3. What are your top people priorities?
Make sure staff are valued as individuals so that they enjoy their work and have time to be with their friends and family. Achieving the right balance is easy when working is enjoyable and not a chore.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals?
I know that if staff enjoy their work, feel a sense of challenge and are supported when things do not go to plan, they will always achieve more because they believe in what they do.

1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization?
As an organization, both our existing employees & future employees can expect this place to provide them with an opportunity to realize their full potential. Our culture is interwoven on the fundamental belief of TRUST & equal opportunity. Employees would find themselves at home even while being at work & more importantly being cared for. Respect, Regard & Recognition are the 3 main pillars of our Culture which work very effectively with our Core Values thereby making every single employee valued. The employees will find this place filled with Passionate colleagues who not only dream big but are also able to convert that into reality.

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing?
From a People perspective, being in the Education Industry, the core members are the Teachers i.e. People. Today, the Education Industry is growing at a rapid pace & thereby allowing many other professionals to take up the challenge of International Education. The key challenge would be in terms of getting the right quality of Teacher for the delivery of a truly International Curriculum.

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure etc. in the organization?
Great Place to Work® journey has helped us in many ways to ensure that we provide a consistent experience for all employees. We have a range of programs, initiatives which are largely driven by employees. Constant communication & aligning everything to your core values makes the experience more consistent & happier. Empowering employees & creating opportunities for employees to co-create the Culture and mixed with Fun goes a long way in building a consistent workplace. Giving the employee an experience, which is second to none & caring are also very important features of our attempt at being consistent at the workplace.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals?
We have been partnering with Great Place to Work® for the past 6 years. The journey has been very meaningful & as an Organization, we have evolved significantly in terms of Trust-Building & Organization Culture. We have successfully moved up the ranks from 90, 85, 54 & 21 (in the year 2018) which shows that our employees & key stakeholders see the value we bring in being a Great Place to Work. I believe that the business Growth & achievement of strategic goals are a by-product of being a Great Place to Work. Work on Trust-building & a Culture which truly is cohesive, inclusive & full of fun and you will find yourself on the right path to achieving both Individual & Organization goals.
