This inititaive is for developing the concept of Internal Trainer, where employees can teach other employees on the topics of their interest or expertise. The purpose is to build a Learing Organization by creating a community, welcoming people from all functions and backgrounds to exchange ideas by engaging in one-to-one or many-to-many dialogues.
Spicer recognizes achievements in a social way through their Employee Spotlight Initiative called Parichay. Every week, profiles of two employees are displayed in the office and the manufacturing plants, with the intention of instilling pride and loyalty in them. This program covers 100 employees annually and helps to bring out the best in people by appreciating them.
Management focuses on giving opportunities to the young workforce. In recent times, many top positions have been occupied by young employees and the strategy is working wonderfully for getting better results.
