1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace?
To me, a great workplace should contain an atmosphere that evokes a strong sense of community throughout the entire organization, not just within smaller team units. Employees should feel that they are part of a group of superior people who are pulling together for the common good. Collaborative approach acts as an anchor towards achieving a suitable environment for all. 

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace? 
I feel the best organization is one that treats every employee fairly. The sense of fairness catapults a strong feeling of satisfaction, which in term can yield a better productivity level. Another crucial aspect for having a great workplace is that you empower your people and create autonomy amongst the levels. The idea behind this autonomy is that the more freedom and input the employee has in performing her/his job, the greater meaning it will have to her/him, which increases the overall motivation to do the job well. 

3. What are your top people priorities? 
I believe in having open access to the overall community that we belong to. I emphasize on the same exercise to be practised in my organization. Open communication, robust feedback mechanism backed by strong grievance handling capability and upskilling of the workforce are to me the pillars of having a happy workplace. 

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals?
As a group’s perspective, we believe in ‘Business is 90 % people’ philosophy. Our entire journey with GPTW has helped us in identifying and harnessing the core internal issues and in terms addressing them which benefitted us through greater productivity and a sense of pride. The recognition has helped us in getting an appreciation from the customers as well as collectively we all promote best practices of a workplace. This has yielded in getting greater opportunities across the industry.

1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization?
The great workplaces are known to have transparency where nothing is hidden and trust flourishes. We strive to maintain a similar environment for all the employees irrespective of they have been associated with us. 

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing?
In a market downtrend – the growth of employees. The entire automotive industry is going through tremendous turmoil for the last three quarters. This has increased the cost-saving initiatives across all the segments. To an extent, negative implications have touched the growth aspect as well for the employees. 

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc. in the organization?
Making practices all-inclusive so that each and every employee in the organization is more engaged and enjoys working with us. Example: birthday celebrations, leave policy, dress code, canteen facility, celebrations of festivals, appraisal process and promotion guidelines, etc.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals?
