‘Propel’ and ‘Fuel for Future’ are the recently launched initiatives at Brightstar Telecommunications India Ltd. which involve employees from different departments to come together to form a cross-functional team and find solutions for organizational level problems. This initiative is directly driven by CEO and Senior Managers who act as mentors in guiding the core teams working on these projects.



Annual Goal Alignment Meet

At Brightstar Telecommunications India Ltd. all the employees, both on-roll and off-roll working with the organization come together under one roof to celebrate the company's success and plan the way forward for the upcoming year.

Everyone's given enough opportunity to learn new things/ ideas to contribute towards the business growth. I have completed HCIE-R&S certificate in a duration of 7 months, my co-workers were very supportive during this phase to distribute my official work load.

1. Provide recognition: As a manager, one must ensure that the efforts put in by an employee don’t go unappreciated. A common grievance of employees is the fact that they always receive flak when a job goes wrong, and appreciation doesn’t come easily. Praise should flow generously within the organization. 
2. Work in collaboration: An organization where employees support and help each other will always be an enriching place to work in.

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing? 
Biggest people challenge is to hire and retain people who are motivated to deliver in tough market conditions and agile enough to keep up with market dynamics. 

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc. in the organization? 
Leading by example is the best way to ensure consistency in an organizational culture which in turn ensures consistent work experience. At Brightstar, all people leaders strongly believe in the same vision and values, which percolates down to all levels.
