1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace? 
My personal approach is extremely simple, everyone in the organization should be treated like me or do not treat others in a way, which you don't like to be treated. Your people spend half of their life in the organization, they go through a lot of stressful moments in the office due to work pressure, so the external atmosphere in the office should be such that you enjoy those moments when there is less work. Every individual in the office should get his private space and that makes an individual fall in love with the workplace.

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace? 
One great workplace can have a major impact on the culture of an entire nation. Organizations and people want to copy best practices of the most successful organizations, so if you are a successful org with a great culture at your workplace, then everyone would want to copy the same and your org becomes a case study for others. The best thing about a great workplace is the appreciation that all your employees get inside the org and also from outside all the time for working in a great organization. Such constant appreciation and support enhance the Passion of the champion guys within the organization, who then step out of their comfort zone and achieve great results for themselves and the organization. 

3. What are your top people priorities?
Retaining the best guys and the top Leadership team is our top priority. When you think about retaining hundreds of employees for more than a decade, then it needs an all-round effort to make it happen. In today's world, it's extremely easy for a competitor to hire your key guys in no time, so there has to be a very strong push from inside of an employee to never leave you and stick to the great work which they themselves have created.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals? 
Why quotient of our organization is very strong. We have a very unique patented technology that helps us differentiate from all other Cloud players. Our customers get better uptime at a much lesser price and they have managed to continuously upgrade to new technologies to stay relevant to their business. Our relationship with Great Place to Work® is the How quotient around our why. We have been so good at delivering exuberance to our customers by creating a great workplace.

1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization? 
To begin with, treating everyone equally is vital in ESDS. There is an equal amount of respect served to everyone, from Facility management staff to the leaders of the company. Managers and management are very easy to approach because of the open door policy hence equality is a big deal of us. Another factor is trust and transparency which we strive to follow all the time because we want our people to know about our strategic plans, want to want to achieve and where we want to reach, this definitely gets us towards not having clashes or that awkward communication gaps. The next major aspect which is in our DNA i.e. nurturing the work-life balance culture hence reaching out to our ESDSians is not our only goal but also reaching out to their families too. Inviting them on a regular basis to let them have an inside scoop of ESDS where they will know what are their kids or spouses doing, achieving, flourishing and most important let them witness that they are having their best time.

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing? 
The biggest challenge is from our competitors. We take a lot of effort in training our staff, but our competitors with deep pockets can easily pull our assets. Creating a great work culture was very important for us to prevent ESDS from such challenges because we have witnessed that even if our people are offered 3 times still they don't want to leave just because of the culture. Hence this is evident that culture is the king, culture is at the top not even the money. so contentment and the camaraderie they get will always keep them glued to ESDS. 

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc. in the organization? 
We have eliminated the barrier of particular benefits to particular, that doesn't happen here. We are all in it together hence equality is the trend that will never go out of fashion in ESDS. Open door policy also works wonders in ESDS because walking up to anybody, opportunities to each and everyone with customized platforms for them excel. The biggest highlight for us is that even our facility management staff have an opportunity to be in our top 5 performers, well they have been a part of it just because of their performance and merits, which was admired and appreciated everywhere. These acts definitely give us adrenaline rush to retain and keep finding ways to be more unique which will make our people accelerate in every which way. 

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals? 
There are 2 aspects which we would like to highlight, the first thing is how it has transformed our culture. 3 years before we were way behind with our rank although we were in the top 100 we use to question us all the time what we can do better that gets us in top 5, top 3 or 1st, so it definitely use to boost us to do things with Great Place to Work® guidelines in the different way which made us an absolute culture architects. The second aspect is creating an employer brand and attracting talent has become very easy. We have got management and key people from several MNCs just because of our culture and Great Place to Work® title, which got them interested and curious about ESDS.
