Psychometric Assessment Policy

Every new joinee goes through two psychometric assessments. While one of them focusses on the individual working style, the other is to ascertain the team working style. These assessment results are shared with their respective managers on day one itself. This helps managers come up with a plan for the new joinee before they meet them on day two.

Management is open to innovation and shows trust and faith in the employees. It's a growing organisation with an aggressive growth path. One does not stagnate in a role. There is scope for improvement and growth for the individual.

1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace? 
I believe we have an extremely talented and motivated team at Gera. My approach is to ensure that they are provided opportunities to be able to showcase their capabilities, bring out their Outdo spirit leading to organizational and individual growth.

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace?
Creating a great workplace means nurturing a team of zealous outdoors with the drive to excel and grow. This has positively impacted performance at a team and organizational level besides generating enthusiasm and energy which is palpable. We have also observed a positive shift in attracting and retaining talent across levels. There has been an increased interest from cross-sector talent, which otherwise is a recruitment challenge that the real estate sector faces.

3. What are your top people priorities? 
Elevating our existing culture of ownership to that of entrepreneurship. This is to foster a sense of purpose and belonging. This, while creating a high-performance culture, will also put our people on an unprecedented, personal and professional growth path.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals? 
Being recognized as a Great Place to Work® is an assertion of the High-Trust, High-Performance Culture™ that we have been able to inculcate. It is a reflection of the zeal that our people have towards the organization and that translates into their actions and performance. We have not just been able to create a great culture but also an environment geared to deliver business results.

1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization? 
With outdo as our foundational philosophy, we have been able to build a high-performance work culture and are taking exciting new steps to create an entrepreneurial culture. What that is translating into is an open environment where new ideas are encouraged and one where developmental and growth opportunities are more than adequately, provided.

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing? 
Real estate has always been seen as an unprofessional, homegrown family business like setup. We have been able to turn that challenge on its head by way of our best in class people practices and are seeing results by way of increased interest from cross-sector talent. 

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc. in the organization? 
At Gera, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of bias; it is in the fabric of our organization. That lays a strong foundation for fairness and in turn a consistent workplace experience.
