Caring - Balancing

Security First

Max Skill First Limited understands the security needs of its women employees and takes responsibility for it well. Women employees are not allowed to work in the offices post 8 pm. The managers are advised to ensure compliance with the same. In case women do have to stay back, transport as well as a guard is arranged to ensure their safety. The practice is a simple yet impactful step to let the women and their families know that the company firmly believes in caring for its employees.

'Do You Know' Series

This a series of weekly mailers which act as an information platform and go out to every employee. The objective is to create awareness to all about company policies, programs, policy changes, new processes introduced etc. These are disseminated from the HR desk. Covering each aspect that remotely touches the lives of the employees at MSF continues to educate and update them on aspects that are both critical in their professional and personal area.

The organization believes in being transparent and open about its policies and beliefs with employees. Though the organization is still in the initial stages and many processes are yet to be established, the willingness and actions of senior management are visible to establish them with a prime focus to help not only clients but also the employees. There is a constant encouragement to develop ourselves as a complete individual by focusing not only on work but also following our passion.

1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace? 
My personal approach to making a Great Workplace is the following: 
a) Skill-based and Value-based hiring as two prime imperatives. Both have to be prioritized equally. 
b) Inculcating a learning culture for employee empowerment. Providing a platform for continuous upskilling and knowledge up-gradation is indispensable. 
c) Facilitating a culture in the organization that focusses on the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the employees.

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace?
The top benefits of creating a Great Workplace is stated below: 
a) A great workplace attracts the qualitative employee force as it’s a very effective endorsement medium. It is also instrumental in employee retention as its an indicator that our existing employees are happy. 
b) In creating a great workplace, our employees reflect happiness. Since we touch the lives of people through training, this leads to very effective and impactful results. In nutshell, when the employees who are trainers can maintain harmony in their minds and deliver training in a happy and positive approach, the outcomes are always fruitful. 

3. What are your top people priorities? 
Our top people priorities are the following: 
a) Developing and maintaining a culture that keeps our people safe, happy and motivated
b) We strongly believe in our talent retention and continuously engage our people in internal certification programs and awards with recognitions. 
c) My endeavour is to always maintain a culture of trust and freedom of action for the employees to perform in an independent fashion. 

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped business and strategic goals? 
The Great Place to Work® benchmarking is a very powerful catalyst in independently validating our organization. It is a powerful benchmarking for finding out the gaps of our organization in juxtaposing with other organizations in a similar segment. This increases our credibility, brand value with employee absorption and retention. It is also a very essential recognition amongst our stakeholders and competitors.

Max Skill First has a rock-solid foundation with a strong People First Culture. Respect, working together & harmony is at the centre of everything that we do: in the way we communicate, find out better ways to delight our customers, strategize & be future-ready. Heart, Mind, Soul Alignment: We follow a very balanced Emotional Diet that helps us pool our energies & hence create a powerful Emotional Self. Our commitment to our employees under the umbrella of Employee Value Proposition in the form of 4Cs: Culture, Career, Certification, and Compensation. Listening to the voice of the employees and adapting to the same, are important facets of the environment that we have built within the organization across all our offerings.

We had embarked upon the journey of establishing a strong People First Culture across Max Skill First to build a resilient and an indomitable value system for the organization. This honest feedback from an external party has served as a strong validation of how our employees perceive our culture and us. We strive to develop world-class policies & practices which will lead to employee satisfaction and eventually an increase in our employee retention. This complete process has helped us in benchmarking our system with what is in the market.
