Child Care Leave

At SourceFuse, every person with a child gets 5 working days off every year until the child reaches the age of twelve. This leave multiplies for the number of children an employee may have. The childcare leave can also be used for looking after ailing parents or even pets.

Re-interview

Any candidate who gives feedback of not being satisfied with the interview, due to whatever reasons, during the unsuccessful candidature round, can be called for re-interview. The candidate is given ample time to prepare and is asked to be thorough with the subject they are being interviewed on. The candidate is interviewed again and by the same panel. If the candidate complains of getting intimidated by the interviewer or uncomfortable with the interviewer, then the panel is revised for the re-interview.

SourceFuse is a culture driven organisation that really takes its values seriously. We have started implementing an open book accounting system - which shares the financial health of the companies with all internal stakeholders. There is an MIS in place that displays all key metrics and anyone is allowed to question/ask about any particular aspect. The idea is to foster true partnership and community within the organisation.

1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace? 
I believe that there are a few pillars on which a Great Workplace rests: Flexibility, Open Communication, and non-hierarchical organizational structure.

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace?
Talent is where there is real competition today, a great workplace not only helps us retain the talent we already have but also helps in attracting amazing talent- so talent retention and attraction is one. Secondly, a happy workplace leads to happy people who work with all of their passion, making happy clients- thereby helping businesses sustain and grow.

3. What are your top people's priorities? 
Top people's priorities for SourceFuse are to be an enabler of continuous learning, professional growth, and great work-life balance. An organization that is seen with pride by employees and with aspiration by prospective talent.

The strategic goals of SF are dependent on our ability to attract and retain exceptional talent. Our association with Great Place to Work® has helped us get recognized for our unique culture by our potential workforce outside of SF as well as by each individual employee working within SF.

1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization?
All the present and potential employees of SourceFuse can be certain hat they would be coming to work in an atmosphere of freedom. Freedom to achieve what they wish to, in their professional as well as personal lives. They will be provided with a culture that is flexible towards their work style and accommodating of their needs, both personal and professional. An organization that will hone their skills and allows time and space to pick and develop new ones. A workplace that understands that only happy people can do great work. 

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing? 
The biggest people challenge the IT industry is facing right now is a fight to find and retain talent. Today everyone is looking for a holistic work experience that caters not only to a singular financial requirement but actually answers many needs at once; the workplace should be mentally stimulating, professionally gratifying, help maintain a healthy work-life balance, and an organization that makes the person feel truly valued. In this scenario, each organization is fighting to stand out in the market as an excellent workplace offering much more than just a job. So the biggest people challenge is finding the right people, and the solution is creating and sustaining an incredible culture that is known far and wide for its cultural ingenuity.

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc. in the organization? 
We at SourceFuse believe that the very foundation of excellent work culture is supported by two pillars: fairness and equality, all employees must be treated fairly and for that, they must be viewed as equals. While we appreciate differences and the different walks of life that our people come from, we do not attach differentiated value to these differences, to help us not see one difference being better than the other. We see all employees as an integral part of the whole and that helps us design programs that are all-inclusive irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals? 
One of our most important strategic goals is to become one of the most sought after software innovator that helps enterprises achieve their goals. This is only possible if we are able to attract and retain the right talent. Our association with Great Place to Work® has helped us attract the best talent to a great extent, and our continued efforts towards ensuring that we remain a great place to work, for the people who are part of our work culture everyday, ensures a high rate of retention of the talent we spend a great deal of time hiring, honing and training.
