Various training and development programs are planned to bridge the gap between the employee behaviour in helping meet the business goal, current and ideal skills and specific learning objective required to achieve the overall organisation goal.

Tasty Bite eatables organizes an all Hands day regularly wherein all employees participate in the manufacturing activity. managers and officers are allocated specific areas of semi-skilled and skilled work and are supervised by the skilled workers. These suggestions were reviewed by the Top managements and many were implemented immediately

The managers and officers over here are very nice. They always help us in our work and provide proper suggestions. They also tell us where we are doing wrong in our work and make us understand properly why that mistake will not occur again. The company has a very pleasant atmosphere.

Leaders Speak

Abhijit Upadhye

Managing Director, Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd.

1. What is your personal approach to making a Great Workplace?
When an employee looks forward to coming to the job every day or when an employee has a hard time making a decision of leaving their job, it’s a strong indication that it’s a great workplace. At the heart of this employee behavior and happiness is company culture…it guides the discretionary behavior of employees and tells them how to respond to unprecedented requests. My approach towards making Tasty Bite a Great Workplace is to continue identifying ways to preserve Tasty Bite’s unique work culture.

2. What are the top 2 benefits you see of creating a Great Workplace?
Great Workplace results in happy employees. Happy employees mean happier customers, lower employee turnover and superior performance.

3. What are your top people priorities?
My top people's priority is to preserve the unique culture that has differentiated Tasty Bite from its peers. This would entail ensuring every employee is aware of the company's mission statement, and values. It also means we need to hire only those people who fit into our culture. In addition, talent development and talent management is the other priority for us.

4. How has your association with Great Place to Work® helped your business and strategic goals?
Tasty Bite has been associated with Great Place to Work® for the past decade and it has benefited us in several ways. Primarily it is a testimony to some of the strong people practices that we follow internally. It helps us retain our existing talent and also recruit the best talent from the industry. Being a part of the Great Place to Work® community also helps us get access to some of the industry best practices and keeps us on the path of continuous improvement in this important area.

Anila Thomas

Dy. General Manager- Human Resource, Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd.

1. What can your present and potential employees be sure of from a work culture perspective in the organization?
Tasty Bite believes in employees and gives the employees a free hand to try new things. Encourages employees to do mistakes in trying new things. Employees work here without fear and keeping head high. Employees are aware that the company will stand by them whenever the need arise.

2. What, according to you, is a people challenge your industry is facing?
With the advent of a new era and changes in the business model, people are being encouraged to grab the changes with an open mind, so that advance technologies can play a greater role.

3. How are you ensuring a consistent workplace experience FOR ALL your employees, irrespective of their role, age, gender, tenure, etc. in the organization?
We ensure everyone to call their colleagues & seniors by their first name, this eliminates any high & low stature in the industry. We encourage new entrants to take a bigger responsibility to strike a better result. Even juniors irrespective of their experiences, gender or tenure can take a greater role for a new project. Team members too do not shy away to extend their effort for the success of the project.

Our association with Great Place to Work® has played a varied role.
