India's Best Workplaces in Health & Wellness 2021

The study is an exclusive research on workplace wellness and is voluntary for all organizations that have had at least two years of operations in India and has minimum 100 employees on their payroll. In the second year of the study, the study captures the voice of more than 2.4 lac employees. Based on a comprehensive and rigorous assessment, Great Place to Work® has identified ‘India’s 15 Best workplaces in Health and Wellness,’ where the organizations have well designed practices for workplace wellness, and the employees have also validated their experience of a psychologically and emotionally healthy workplace environment. The Workplace Wellness Index^TM measured through the employee feedback is given 70% weight in the evaluation. The assessment also includes a detailed evaluation of the practices designed by the organization to create an environment that fosters holistic employee wellness. The evaluation of practices is given a 30% weight. The cumulative score of the organization determines an organization’s place in the best workplaces list. the There is no jury or manual intervention in the process to identify the best workplaces in health and wellness.

Only for this year we are also recognising organisations in a Special Category: Support provided by organisations to employees and their families during the Covid crisis. We acknowledge that all organisations supported and took care of their employees during the pandemic. For this category, we invited submissions from organisations on what they did to provide this support and also sought feedback from the employees on the statement “I and my family felt supported by my organization during COVID”. The list here honors the 10 Best companies that went above and beyond to support the employees and their families during the crisis and this has been validated by their employees through their feedback.
