ESL Steel Limited is a greenfield, integrated steel plant in the Bokaro district of Jharkhand. Currently commissioned at a capacity of 2.51 MT per annum, the company's product range includes pig iron, billets, TMT bars, wire rods and ductile iron pipes. The manufacturing facility's operations are defined by cutting-edge technology integrated with the highest ecological standards.Products:V-XEGA TMT bars - TMT Bars are produced by a single process comprising of work hardening and heat treatment, and are widely used in construction. The V-XEGA TMT bars are manufactured in grades- Fe500D, Fe550D, Fe500D CRS and Fe550D CRS as per the IS 1786:2008 standard, with carbon and carbon equivalent levels kept to a lower level than specified to attain better properties. The TS/YS ratio and elongation at maximum force are much higher compared to the IS Standard. These two properties are essential for any earthquake variety of TMT bar. V-DUCPIPE Ductile Iron Pipes - DI pipes are made from ductile iron, known for its high tensile strength, and are widely used for water supply and pressure sewerage applications. The V-Ducpipe ensures good health flows to every home since it is inherently corrosion resistant. It available in classes K7 and K9 with diameter DN 100 to DN 1200, conforming to IS 8329:2000 standards. This guarantees more pressure bearing ability, unmatched impact resistance and improves the capacity to sustain static or dynamic loading.V - WIRRO Wire Rods - Wire rods are long, semi-finished steel products that are produced by hot rolling of billets and have various end uses and applications in the engineering, construction, power and automobile industry. The V-Wirro comes in low carbon, medium carbon and high carbon grades with a size ranging from 5.5mm to 16mm and meets the requirements of IS standards like IS7904:2018,IS7887:1992. Optimum controls in the steelmaking ensures clean steel and precise chemistry. The mill is equipped with advanced technology and helps in achieving uniform mechanical and metallurgical properties as well as excellent surface finish.Pig Iron - Pig iron is developed by smelting iron ore in a blast furnace and is an intermediate good in the production of steel.Steel Billets - Billets are freshly made, semi-finished steel still in the form of metal bars and are the second-stage product in the making of steel bars. Our billets are cast through 5-strand casters integrated with a basic oxygen furnace linked to a blast furnace, ensuring consistent quality steel. Steel billets produced at ESL BOF contain much lower levels of Sulphur and phosphorus which are basically impurities to steel.
