Svatantra Micro Housing Finance Corporation, ( SMHFC) is a pioneer Housing Finance company in the space of providing Housing Finance to economically weaker and low income families mostlyemployed in the informal sector. We were incorporated in 2008, and in 2018 became part of theAditya Birla Group when Ms Ananya Birla bought out 100% stake in company. We have, sinceinception, and continue to be focussed on providing a simple solution to a complex problem ofproviding a home to those close to the bottom of the pyramid families. 90% of the Housing Finance shortage is for the segment we cater to economically weak and low income families. It has been our endeavour at SMHFC to bridge this gap and set an example for others to follow by providing long term Housing Finance to these families to be able to own their house.
