The Great Adaptation:
Where Change Meets Opportunity

theme-bg-image-with-text.png

Change is not something to endure; it’s something to embrace. Our research shows that in high-trust, high-performance workplaces, change becomes a catalyst for growth and a spark that drives innovation and belonging. Organizations that foster transparency, inclusion, and strong leadership see nearly 90% of employees adapt quickly to change compared to 83% in other workplaces.

The Great Adaptation is about leading that change with courage and conviction, turning uncertainty into opportunity, and building workplaces where every transformation strengthens both people and performance.

Our Agenda

  • The world of work is evolving rapidly, demanding new ways of thinking about leadership, performance, and people. In this session, John will draw on his own experiences and his work advising leaders across the globe to explore what meaningful adaptation truly requires.
  • The session will explore how leadership behaviour shapes workplace culture and why culture becomes a decisive factor during periods of change.
  • This session offers a grounded, human perspective on the future of work – one that emphasises adaptive leadership, healthy workplace cultures, and the responsibility leaders carry in shaping environments where people can thrive.

Speaker: Prof. John Amaechi OBE

  • How collective leadership strengthens India’s position as a global delivery and innovation engine
  • Future leadership behaviours for an AI-enabled, multi-generational workforce
  • Case examples and insights from Accenture’s own culture, leadership, and talent philosophy
  • Boundaryless Careers: enabling people to grow, contribute, and lead beyond formal roles

Speaker: Ajay Vij

Moderator: Balbir Singh

  • AI as a catalyst for innovation, strategic growth and operational efficiency
  • Upskilling and talent transformation
  • Responsible AI and ethical governance

Speakers: CP Gurnani, Arun Kohli

Moderator: Delnaz Elavia

  1. What truly sets the best workplaces apart – best in class people practices and culture that that drive long-term success.
  2. Success stories on “Great Place To Work® Effect” i.e impact of effective leadership on employee experience and culture, and how it drives measurable business performance
  3. How does ownership (promoter or sponsor) drive workplace culture?

Speaker: Ajit Prabhu

Moderator: Amit Jain

  • How entrepreneurial thinking scales from a start-up idea to a global organisation creating millions of livelihoods.
  • Job Creation with Purpose
  • From Capability Building to Economic Impact – Investing in skills, inclusion, and employability as engines of both business and societal progress.

Speaker: Pramod Bhasin

Moderator: Dr. Vishwanath Joshi

  1. How can organizations respond to evolving workforce expectations – turning talent scarcity and rising attrition into opportunities to differentiate and build stronger employee value propositions?
  2. Best practices to attract, engage, and retain top talent by designing meaningful growth journeys and adaptive workplace cultures.
  3. How has employee loyalty shifted – what do employees value the most?

Speakers: Ipsita Dasgupta, Ruchika Panesar

Moderator: Akshat Shah

  • What actually holds an organisation together when structure, roles, and strategies keep evolving
  • The “invisible” elements – decision norms, leadership cues, and shared expectations that shape trust over time
  • How leadership behaviour becomes the strongest organisational signal, often more powerful than formal systems

Speaker: Parul Gopal

Moderator: Anita Borate

  • Why day-to-day processes shape employee experience, inclusion, and work–life balance far more than isolated initiatives – especially across hybrid, frontline, and distributed teams.
  • How physical safety and dependable systems act as multipliers for wellbeing, trust, adaptability, and performance, while balancing cost discipline as organisations grow.
  • What leaders must focus on to build resilient experience ecosystems that support people, performance, and continuity through change.

Speaker: Rituraj Chaturmohta

Moderator: Neha Chopra

  • In an era of constant disruption, The Great Adaptation is not only about how organisations evolve, but how individuals adapt within. As economies and workplaces continue to transform, adaptation becomes as much an inner process as a professional one
  • Drawing from his journey across academia, corporate leadership, and writing, the session will share how meaningful adaptation often demands the courage to step away from accepted paths, challenge conventional measures of success, and choose long-term purpose over short-term validation.
  • The session will explore the pursuit of inner freedom, resilience, and lightness of being, underscoring that the most enduring form of adaptation begins from within.

Speaker: Gurcharan Das

  • At last year’s Summit, Rachana Bahadur (SVP and Country Head for Synchrony in India) shared a powerful perspective on why employee experience must remain paramount especially in a world where talent expectations, leadership responsibilities, and organisational realities are rapidly shifting.
  • This year, we are building on that narrative with a deeper, leadership-level exploration of how Synchrony has gone from prioritising employee experience to institutionalising it as a board mandate and cultural backbone.
  • Unlike a traditional panel, this will be an open-hearted, case-study–style conversation highlighting the decisions, governance frameworks, leadership behaviours, and people philosophies that have enabled Synchrony to consistently remain among the most trusted workplaces in India and globally.

Speakers: Vatika Kaura, Abha Kataria,Nitish Bhardwaj and Akshah Raja
