I hail from Bhubhaneshwar, a Tier 2 city. I know the pain of leaving your hometown behind. I’ve roamed the world for my livelihood. There’s a lot of talent here—which Rakhee, Bala, and Arun recognized—so we opened our office in Bubhaneshwar. This was about giving back to my hometown. The challenge in hiring from Tier 2 colleges takes effort; finding good people is tough. For the 14 we hired, we interviewed 300 on campuses—written tests, programming questions, group discussions, technical interviews—then selection. But without growing people, you cannot grow.
