Ibtada is a non-profit organization working to empower women and girl child in the Mewat region in Rajasthan, and Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1997, Ibtada aims to uplift women through education, women institutions, and women led-livelihoods. It operates in 650 villages across 8 districts and 18 blocks of Rajasthan, UP and Haryana focusing on communities facing extreme social and economic challenges. Ibtada strives to bring about lasting change in these backward areas and communities. Aligned with 6 SDGs Ibtada is creating a sustainable change for a just an equitable community where women and girls lead their own progress.
