MelJol is an NGO that began in 1991 as a field action project of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty through education and empowerment. Our programs engage children, youth, women, and communities to foster values of citizenship, financial literacy, and social equity. We believe that real change begins with children, and by empowering them today, we create responsible and financially literate citizens for tomorrow. Through participatory learning, capacity building, and innovative approaches, we strive to shape a more inclusive and sustainable society.
