NHPC Limited is the Navratna PSU of Govt of India and also the largest hydropower development organization in India, with capabilities to undertake all the activities from conceptualization to commissioning of hydro projects. NHPC has also diversified in the field of Solar & Wind energy development etc. AND also working upon PSPs and Green Hydrogen generation projects. NHPC has an authorized share capital of ₹ 17,500 crore, paid up share capital of ₹10,045.03 crores and an investment base (Assets) of ₹ 93570.28 Crore (standalone) as on 30.09.2025. It is an ISO: 9001:2015, ISO-14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified company. The total installed capacity of NHPC as on 31/12/2025 is 8582.90 MW.
