It's been the kindest place I've ever been. I truly appreciate them going beyond their way to make the place a good and safe place, not only for the children that we do this work for, but for all the people associated with this work. It would be very very challenging to find another place like this. I have seen many instances where they've made difficult decisions to safeguard the community instead of choosing opportunities that could have helped them/org specifically. I learnt to value myself as a person by working in this organization because they valued me more than I did it for myself. And I don't know anybody else who can say that about any other organization. This org has been my home for as long as I have been associated with them.

What sets U&I apart is our unwavering commitment to nurturing exceptional leadership. The focus on managerial training goes beyond the conventional, emphasising empathy and creating a a safe , inclusive environment. In an effort to build connection and co-create purposeful goals for each team member, U&I bring the whole org together for 4 days every 6 months. These 4 days consists of connection day where the teams get to connect, discoveries days where the teams get to work on their goals & build projects and a launch day where the teams get to present their big audacious goals to other teams.
