Our presence in India was established in 2003 through a production and sourcing joint venture with Brandix Apparel Limited, an apparel manufacturer headquartered in Sri Lanka. In the initial years, the focus was on providing production and sourcing services for third party customers, including over time, to 5 large brands namely Express, Lane Bryant, Victoria’s Secret, Torrid and Limited Store. In 2010, the India office transitioned from providing sourcing services to Business Processes and Services (BPS). The journey began with purchase order creation and amendments for Victoria’s Secret, Victoria’s Secret Direct, Victoria’s Secret Pink and La Senza. Today this team is involved in process monitoring, data management, reporting, analytics and performance optimization efforts for Victoria’s Secret & Co., inclusive of the lingerie, apparel, beauty and home businesses and logistics operations. The Technology team was established in 2013 and currently has over 400 associates in India. The Digital function was established a few years later and has added close to 100 associates in a short timeframe. Rounding out our India operations is our Data Science and Analytics team supporting the marketing function, and a small Quality Assurance team supporting multiple vendor factories with panty and bra production.
