Some of the Best People Practices and Initiatives at Dream Sports include -
Rent Benefit:
The high rents, long travel times and never-ending traffic jams can be a big deterrent to anyone who wants to move to Mumbai. This study conducted by Canada’s University of Waterloo discovered a direct link between commute time and well-being. The findings conclude that people with the longest commutes have the lowest overall satisfaction with life. Under this initiative, the organisation offers up to 75% rent reimbursement for Sportans who stay within 30 minutes from the office. This not only reduces travel time but also helps employees to improve their quality of life and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
No Meetings Thursday:
Me time is essential - especially in an open work environment like Sporta. In the spirit of #Performance, every Sportan is encouraged to work on themselves by 'blocking' their calendar every Thursday, so they don't block others' calendars. Sportans are free to spend 'No meetings Thursday' to themselves any way they like. They dust out their old learning initiatives, work on critical tasks, catch up with work friends over table tennis, or just enjoy their afternoon tea - all without the rush of getting into the next meeting. And that's how Thursdays are when Sportans relax and rejuvenate at work their own way.
