Hackthevirus: This initiative is to channelize their employees energy and competence to finding solutions to the current pandemic. This initiative had 2 elements to it
72-hour hackathon - Unlike other hackathons, it will be completely virtual. Ericsson staff around the world will be eligible to apply for participation. The hackathon was facilitated by their global experts, colleagues from Marketing and Communication and Group Function Technology.
Secondly, a positioning, AI and analytics challenge leveraging operator data using technology from their data analytics unit Emodo in Business Area Technologies & New Businesses and other parts of the company - where they invite selected experts and customer units in individual countries to work with operators and regulators to develop insights to limit the Covid-19 spread in their countries.
