Prayatna is a non-profit organization that is bringing about a difference in society by relentlessly working towards improving the quality of life of the people living in rural and urban areas. The organization was founded by Mr. Prabhat Kumar and was formally registered under Societies Registration Act in 2003 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar with a philosophy rooted in Gandhian Ideology. Prayatna has worked relentlessly over the past decades for the upliftment by reaching to the unreached and has expanded its operations in the thematic areas of livelihood, healthcare, education, youth development and sustainable development in 7states.
